VERART Vernazza: The first edition celebrates local artists on July 17–18, 2026

The VERART Vernazza festival makes its debut on July 17 and 18, 2026. This new cultural event will transform the village into an open-air art gallery. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to discover local artists through a unique exhibition spread across the historic streets of Vernazza.

What Is VERART Vernazza?

VERART is a new cultural event dedicated to local artists. Its goal is to promote the area’s creative talent while celebrating the unique connection between art, landscape, and local traditions.

The exhibition extends throughout the village streets. Therefore, every corner of Vernazza becomes a space for creativity and artistic expression.

In addition, visitors can meet the artists, learn about their work, and discover how the Cinque Terre continues to inspire their creations.

The event will take place on Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18, 2026.

The exhibitions will be open from 6:00 PM onwards throughout the historic center of Vernazza.

During the event, visitors can:

  • explore open-air art exhibitions;

  • discover artworks inspired by Vernazza and the Cinque Terre;

Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremony will take place on Saturday, July 18, at 8:30 PM.

The evening program includes:

  • poetry readings;
  • a screening of the historic film The Vernazza Singers of the Late 1980s.
