And the best way to get to know it is by walking on its numerous cliff-side tracks, on trails running by small villages and across mountains that decline &#8211; abruptly, sometimes &#8211; towards the sea rocks and the transparent water. Here are some precautions for a safe hike.<\/p>\n<p>1. Don&#8217;t forget to include the necessary\u00a0<strong>equipment for potential emergency situations<\/strong>as well as a\u00a0<strong>small first aid kit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0<strong>Don&#8217;t go\u00a0<\/strong><strong>on a hike by yourself<\/strong><strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>and anyway inform a trusted person about your planned itinerary.<\/p>\n<p>7. Please remember that\u00a0<strong>it is however prohibited to walk on the trails in case of adverse weather conditions<\/strong>, as you may endanger yourself and others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>IN\u00a0<\/strong><strong>CASE OF YELLOW WEATHER WARNING<\/strong>, THE PARK COULD DECIDE TO SUSPEND THE SALE OF CINQUE TERRE TREKKING CARD ACCORDING TO WEATHER CONDITIONS (BOTH AT THE WELCOME CENTERS AND ONLINE)<\/p>\n<p><strong>IN CASE OF ORANGE\/RED WEATHER WARNING<\/strong>, THE PARK WILL SUSPEND THE SALE OF ALL SERVICE CARDS (BOTH AT THE WELCOME CENTERS AND ONLINE)<\/p>\n<p>9.<strong>Take your garbage back with you\u00a0<\/strong><strong>and<\/strong><strong>prefer canteen to plastic bottles.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>10.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Respect\u00a0<\/strong><strong>plants and animals<\/strong>. Respect local culture and traditions.<\/p>\n<p>11.\u00a0<strong>Don&#8217;t leave<\/strong>\u00a0the marked path.<\/p>\n<p>12.
