Wednesday, September 16: Manarola and Riomaggiore

The week begins with a cultural tour of Manarola and Riomaggiore.

On September 17, the Cinque Terre Walking Park focuses on the geology of Punta Mesco.

The circular route starts in Monterosso Fegina. It then climbs through olive groves and vineyards.

The route reaches Sella Bagari and continues towards Sant’Antonio al Mesco. The final section offers wide views of the Cinque Terre coast and the Ligurian Sea.

Friday, September 18: Corniglia at sunset

On Friday, the program moves to Corniglia for an afternoon cultural tour.

The Cinque Terre Walking Park then offers a hike dedicated to the agricultural landscape of Monterosso.

Afterwards, the trail continues between vineyards and traditional lemon gardens. The route reaches the Buranco Agricultural Estate.

Here, participants can visit the vineyard and agricultural estate. A tasting of local wines is also available.

The wine tasting is optional and at the participant’s expense. Trekking shoes are mandatory. Good physical preparation is also recommended.

Sunday, September 20: Vernazza and Monterosso at sunset

Sunday brings another cultural tour between two famous Cinque Terre villages.

The final appointment of this week’s Cinque Terre Walking Park is a challenging hike from Levanto to Monterosso.

The route is called The Way of Nature. It connects Levanto and Monterosso through landscapes with strong botanical and geological interest.

The itinerary follows places linked to poet Eugenio Montale. He spent many summers in Monterosso and walked these paths.

The route also passes through Mediterranean vegetation and areas with distinctive ophiolitic rocks. A section of high holm-oak forest is another important feature of the landscape.
