Rimaz\u00fb Folk Festival 2025 <\/span>
\nMusic, Dialect and Sciacchetr\u00e0<\/h3>\n

From August 20 to 26, 2025<\/strong>, the Rimaz\u00fb Folk Festival 2025 Riomaggiore<\/strong> returns.
The sixth edition brings music, dialect, and tradition to the heart of the Cinque Terre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The festival celebrates the charm of songs in the Ligurian dialect<\/strong> across many genres.
Visitors will enjoy folk, reggae, storytelling ballads, and contemporary songwriting.<\/p>\n

This is not a nostalgic event.
Instead, it looks at the Mediterranean<\/strong> as a space of cultural exchange and linguistic diversity.<\/p>\n

\n

Program of Rimaz\u00fb Folk Festival 2025<\/h4>\n

The festival features two main concerts, supported by the national Roots Tourism grant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

August 20 \u2013 Piazza del Vignaiolo<\/h4>\n

On Wednesday, August 20 at 9:30 p.m., the Makadam Zena<\/strong> will perform.
The Genoese band combines the Ligurian dialect with reggae rhythms in an original way.<\/p>\n

At 8:00 p.m., before the concert, the Wine Route \u2013 Cinque Terre and Levanto Hills<\/strong> project will be presented.
The event will include tastings of local wines and typical products.<\/p>\n

August 26 \u2013 Castle Terrace<\/h4>\n

On Tuesday, August 26 at 9:30 p.m., the spotlight will be on Andrea Facco<\/strong>.
The Genoese singer-songwriter, together with Alessandro Ghiggi and Enrico Bovone, will present his latest album \u00c7erci de prie<\/em>.
The performance blends Celtic and Mediterranean atmospheres<\/strong>, sung in the Ligurian dialect.<\/p>\n

\n

Scia\u00e0tu \u2018nti carugi: Music through the streets<\/h4>\n

On Sunday, August 24, the traditional Scia\u00e0tu \u2018nti carugi<\/strong> will return.
From 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., groups and soloists will perform along the narrow streets of Riomaggiore.<\/p>\n

The walk includes stops at wine cellars and taverns.
Guests can taste Sciacchetr\u00e0 wine<\/strong>, rice pie, and salted anchovies.<\/p>\n

Artists include Grandi & fanti<\/strong>, Gnachi e F\u00fcrbe<\/strong>, Mandill\u04d3<\/strong>, and many more representing Ligurian musical traditions.<\/p>\n

\n

A festival of tradition and experiential tourism<\/h4>\n

The Rimaz\u00fb Folk Festival 2025 Riomaggiore<\/strong> is organized by the Rimaz\u00fb Cultural Association, with Pro Loco and the patronage of the Municipality.<\/p>\n

The festival promotes the territory through two strong symbols: the Ligurian dialect<\/strong> and the Sciacchetr\u00e0 wine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As artistic director Davide Bozzo<\/strong> explains, both are part of the popular culture of the Cinque Terre.
They are passed down from generation to generation, just like music.<\/p>\n

For this reason, the festival promotes slow and experiential tourism<\/strong>, offering visitors an authentic connection with the Cinque Terre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
