🎶 Organ Concert and Photography Exhibition in Corniglia June 27 and June 28, 2025

📍 Saturday, June 28 at 9 PM: Organ concert in Corniglia
📍 June 27 – September 4: Photography exhibition “We Loved Each Other So Much” by Paola Gallo Balma

Corniglia welcomes summer with two powerful events that intertwine music and memory: a deeply symbolic organ concert and an intimate photography exhibition.

🎶 There’s a music that connects, that expresses identity, that vibrates through places and people. It’s the music of our newly restored organ, now officially recognized with a Certificate of Artistic Restoration by the Superintendence of Genoa. A meaningful milestone that restores dignity to this ancient instrument, a witness to centuries of spiritual and cultural life.

✨ To celebrate its return to life, on Saturday, June 28 at 9 PM, the organ will take center stage in a special concert. Acclaimed organist Andrea Vannucchi will guide the audience through a moving musical journey featuring works by Capocci, Tebaldini, Guilmant, Bossi and other great European composers. A unique opportunity to discover the emotional and sonic power of this instrument, in a venue rich with history and atmosphere.

📸 But that’s not all. Starting June 27, the Oratory of Santa Caterina will host the evocative photography exhibition “We Loved Each Other So Much” by Paola Gallo Balma, winner of the Fujifilm Award 2021. The images, gifted by the artist’s family, portray the most intimate side of Corniglia: glances, gestures, hidden corners and invisible bonds that speak of deep love for this land and its people. The exhibition will remain open until September 4.

🌱 At the same time, Corniglia marks the one-year anniversary of the project Orizzonte Terzo Paradiso, created by artist Michelangelo Pistoletto. A “red thread” that has connected art, landscape and reflection, turning this village into a space for dialogue and inspiration. Episodes of the podcast dedicated to this journey are available on Talking Nat 🎧.

📍 Corniglia continues to be a cultural beacon. Every concert, every exhibit, every emotion shared through art, music and memory becomes a collective act of construction — of beauty, of identity, of something that lasts.
